Kagoshima Coast #1

Travelling along the Kagoshima coastline on the way to a tea garden, the land gradually gave way to sea. The road followed the edge of the water. 

An original, inspired by that coastal view. Soft layers of blue ink and pale sky tones in acrylic and gesso move across the surface, capturing the meeting point of land and sea, stillness, and a strong sense of place.
